  • 2 1/4 cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 3/4 cup white sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 large eggs
  • 3/4 cup crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 bag of chocolate drops

Preheat fan forced oven to 170c

Line baking tray with baking paper

Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla in large mixer bowl

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each

Stir through crunchy peanut butter

Gradually beat in flour mixture

Stir in chocolate drops

Roll 1 heaped tablespoon of the mixture into a ball and leave sufficient space for spreading on the baking paper between cookies

Bake for 9 – 11 mins until golden

Cool on tray for 10 minutes before transferring to wire cooling rack
